The BG520W is molded from rugged UV Stabilized Polycarbonate WHITE Plastic and includes all the mounting screws necessary to install your new fixture.
The BG520W has dual (AMBER)/White LEDs built into the fixture and will toggle between AMBER“Insect Deterring“Porch Light Modeor White Flood Light Mode with the FixtureLightSwitch or the InsideRVLightSwitch. No additional wiring is required to install this fixture unlike others, that adds additional costs to the buyer.
One of the most defining features of the BG520W is that it is “EMI SUPPRESSED” so as not to affect your TV or Radio reception.
The fixture has “POLARITY GUARD™” to ease the difficulty of the installation by correcting the Polarity in the RV automatically if needed.

Bought this to replace my RV coach incandescent porch light which burned out quickly if I left it on all night (and some days). This one is led and has 3 settings: OFF, Bright white and BugLite yellow… I use the yellow for obvious reasons 🙂

This lights works well, and is bright on both Amber and White lights settings although the White light is a little pink, but that’s OK. The housing is good quality with a tight seal between the lens and base. I installed it in place of my porch light, and am planning on purchasing another one to replace my scare light, as it puts a lot more light down on the ground than the scare light, and having the Amber light option is going to be a real bonus this summer when the bugs get fierce. NOTE: The lens only fits with the gasket in place with the ridge facing towards the base.

Should have bought this long ago!! My old lighting fixture had a habit of burning or light bulbs in a matter of hours and the cover had melted long ago. This fixture provides great light and the option of amber light (still bright enough to see the doorknob to unlock) should keep the bugs away on those warm summer evenings.
