Created by “GREGG WILSON DESIGNS”, the BG520B is an integrated long-life 220 lumen (AMBER)/520 Lumen @ 5500K LED Array (Equal to a 40 Watt Light Bulb) in an affordable, energy saving lighting solution. Provides maintenance-free (AMBER) and White Light illumination for RV outdoor use applications. Bright, uniform illumination is ideal for camping areas and egress easements creating an inviting exterior space as well as providing safety when camping in unfamiliar locations.
The BG520B has dual (AMBER)/White LEDs built into the fixture and will toggle between Amber Porch Light Mode or White Flood Light Mode with the Fixture Light Switch or the Inside RV Light Switch. No additional wiring is required to install this fixture unlike others, that adds additional costs to the buyer.
One of the most defining features of the BG520B is that it is “EMI SUPPRESSED” so as not to affect your TV or Radio reception.
The fixture has “POLARITY GUARD” to ease the difficulty of the installation by correcting the Polarity in the RV automatically if needed.

A very good outside camping light. I brought this to run of my Goal Zero Yeti 400 while tent camping (car cramping). After attaching the wires I attached a plastic back, then attach to my tent using 3 badge magnets.
Having an outside tent light that can both be white or amber is great after dark. We use the amber light most of the time and the white light for clean up. Much better idea than battery or gas lights if you have a large tent.
As for the product its self, on white its just a little brighter than a 40 watt incandescent light bulb and uses only 7 watts. On amber its bright too and uses only 4 watts. (Measurements taking using the Goal Zero Yeti 400 solar generator).
The specifications say that on white the color temperature is 5000K. This may be so with white LED’s only but the unit uses both white and amber LED when on white creating a more of a warm white (pinkish white light) of around 3800K.
Overall, a very good outside light for Tent (with the modifies) or RV’s.

Looks good, and bright. Nice outdoor rv light, plenty bright, stylish too. Just what my Sprinter needed. Only complaints, mounting screws are quite close to the circuit board, and sealing gasket won’t stay in place when installing the cover – you will have to use a few drops of super glue, etc. to hold it in place.

The Best Customer Service!! I bought this BG520B LED porch light for my 2005 Winnebago Adventure. It is a good idea for having both Amber and White light options. The light is very bright and easy to look at, which provides plenty of light for the entire side of the motorhome.
The light is very well made and is backed by the best customer service. I had an issue with the light and called Greg at RV Led Lites. He is very efficient and understanding. He sent me a new light immediately. I feel very confident in purchasing any product from RV Led Lites.

Extremely nice and super bright light! Love the two modes from amber to bright white which can be changed by simply turning your indoor porch light switch off, then on … off/on amber, off/on again bright white, genius! In our case we were replacing the old switched porch light so we have no need to use the built in on/off switch but nice addition to the light if you want to use it somewhere that was not wired with a switch.
The unit is nicely sealed so bugs do not get behind the lens cover. Installation was less than 15 minutes. However, I do have a tip like one of the other reviewers. There is a slight design flaw in the rubber gasket. It does not recess into a groove or anything so when you try to snap in your clear lens cover after completing the installation you will find that there is no way to keep the gasket in place while trying to install the cover.
I, used the other reviewer’s great idea and used 6 TINY DROPS of super glue on the 4 corners and the middle of the lens cover, top and bottom all on the outer edge and waited about 10 minutes. So I suggest that the first step in your installation process is to glue the gasket to the lens then do the installation and you won’t be waiting 10 minutes for your glue to dry 😉
Again the finished installation and super bright light and stylish looks overcome the gasket issue.
